Of all the cartoon sitcoms out right now Family Guy is indeed the funniest and looking to take over the adult cartoon comedy genre. If you will recall its precursors such as; South Park and The Simpsons it is apparent that Family Guy is a cut above. Of course when you are as politically incorrect as much as they are, it is difficult to find a network that give you free reign, as it sometimes offends people. But with the vast following the cartoon is more than ever in demand.
Indeed as a fellow cartoon viewer, I love that Family Guy cartoon, heck they slam everybody and don‘t hold back. Because people are too politically correct
it‘s good to see another show come along that is similar South Park and does not fear repercussions. Why? Well because most stereotypes arise from at least some truth otherwise they would not be stereotypes at all.
Free speech and centered thought is far better, similar to fluidity of movement wins the battle and eventually the war. You cannot address actual issues if you hide behind political correctness and sweep reality under the carpet.
Here’s three of my favorite episodes from Family Guy:
1) Brian Does Hollywood (Season Three)
Having porn right at the center of this episode cements that reputation that Family Guy doesn‘t hold back. Brian goes to make it big in Hollywood and ends up a porno director in this second-part of the season three’s two-part opener.
Best scene: Any involving Brian’s camp cousin Jasper.
2) The Father, The Holy Son, and The Fonz (Season Four)
This episode is featured around an attack on organised religion and has a rare sghting of Peter‘s father. Peter sets up his own church – of The Fonz – following an argument with his dad.
Best scene: The stained glass windows in Peter’s church depicting Happy Days scenes, complete with images of Potsie, Ralph Malph and Al.
3) Airport 07 (Season Five)
This is a tribute to a classic film that being the brilliance of Airplane! Quagmire loses his pilot’s license thanks to Peter who, with help from Cleveland and Joe, tries to help him get his job back.
Best scene: While staying with the Griffins after having lost his job, a call comes through on the telephone for a Mr Longrod VonHugendong. .
