Family Guy Season 7 Episode 5 "The Man with Two Brians"

Family Guy Season 7 Episode 5 "The Man with Two Brians" aired on November 9, 2008. The episode features comedian/stunt man Johnny Knoxville.

After seeing Jackass, Peter and his friends determine they should film their own extremely unsafe stunts just like the show. Back at home, Lois berates Peter for prompting Brian's accident during the stunts, explaining that Brian could have drowned out there as well. Peter starts to get upset about Brian's age, so he gets some other dog named New Brian. The new dog's confident attitude and great personality make Brian feel like a castaway, causing Brian to move out, much to the Griffins' grief.

In the meantime, New Brian's never-ending perkiness starts to irritate Stewie. Stewie appeals to Brian to comeback, but Brian says that he cannot as long as New Brian is there. So Stewie tells New Brian that the Griffins want him to go, laying claim that they do not like various things about him, including how he humps the leg of one of their chairs. New Brian discloses that he also humped Rupert, and touts about it, stating that "he just layed there and took it." Stewie doesn’t even acknowledge it at first , but off-screen a few seconds later he murders new Brian, cuts him up, shoves his corpse into a garbage bag and places a suicide note on it.

The episode title makes fun of the 1983 film The Man With Two Brains and refers to The show frequently as Johnny Knoxville takes a shotgun blast which blows off part of his face.
